This will be the cover of my new solo album, called "20 bus K", which in portuguese reads "veen tea booze car", which would write "vim te buscar", that means "I´ve come to take you". :)

I really like this. It's going in my faves. I notice the title is the same as opening track on Queen's "A Night At The Opera". An old fave of mine. I'm going to check out your track now too. Keep up the good work ;)

Thanx for your comment! I really like "A Night at the Opera", and "Death on Two Legs" is probably the most striking opening track ever! Just by remembering it, I get shivers all over. And today, with all the recording technology we have at our disposal, we can´t find artists that get even close to that arrangement creativity...
Hope you like my song. It has more to do with Zappa than with Queen, but thats just my opinion.

I liked your song. It was very frenetic. If I recall correctly, I think it had some nice synth strings in it too. And I agree about Queen's "Death On Two Legs", it is an outstanding opening track :)

Wonderful cover, the old school atmosphere is increduible, it's a kind of thing... mmhhh... i like :)
It's so soft, retro and so on, and the colours are magnificent, and the title is very well done and original too, and perfectly integrated to the pic... very nice...

What kind of music is it ? will we be able to find it ?
:)

I want to put the music of the album online, so that all can hear... maybe on IUMA.com, where there´s one song already... you can check it out:

And please tell me here what you think, OK? Thanx!

Actually the track is pretty crazy... all those changing rythms... Kinda reminds me Aphex Twin, but it's not quite that, reminds me some other little french bands i've met, for the crazyness (Sainte Rita for example...)...
i admit it's *too much* for me... I kno that sounds stupid (i kinda have the same problem, when i make a song, my friends tell me the same stuff) but u could do 10 songs out of this one... I love the part @ 1'11 for example... could be a nice jazzy song.. hum...
But i understand the wish to destruct, change and so on... I just don't think it makes the whole thing quite understandable... Mebe there could be less changes, more slightly... well i dunno, ... that's just what i think... :)

yeah, more and more i like things developped longly, slowly... :)

I dunno if i seek homeness... I like when music is disturbing... Well, music's got to be disturbing, otherwise i'll listen to old-school jazz all the time, and it's ok, i got what i need... But... How far has the disturbance to go ? ;)
Being completely lost in a song, yeah it's not what i'm looking for... Moreover it's a very artificial thing : if u listen to this song 3 or 4 times, u kno the themes, ur not lost anymore... So, i opt for the balanced thing... In a song, u gotta be disturbed, taken where u dun expect to be... but u also gotta have something that brings u back to were u belong... mhhh...

French bands... Sainte Rita... we played with em a few weeks ago they are very cool... lemme find an adress... [link] [link]

Thanx for your opinion. Maybe you will like better some other songs of the album, the longer ones, where each theme gets more "developed" - there is almost the same number of themes in the song you heard and in "Astrid", which has almost 10 minutes! But perhaps you seek in music something I do not seek, some sort of "homeness", and familiarity.

Id like to know that french bands you talk about! Where can I find them to download?

Happy new year!
